Self-taught, he attended classes at the ESBAN public workshops. After a career as an operations manager in the construction and rehabilitation of social housing, Jean-Paul Vigne has for several years been creating artistic work under various names that intersect with techniques and registers.

L'Archa des Carmes is a bookstore dedicated to poetry and artist books. Opened in June 2015 by Sandrine Pot, publisher of Les Arêtes, the bookstore welcomes independent publishers and book artists, and organizes meetings, readings, exhibitions, and more.

Exhibitor among 24 selected artists ( 280 applications received) at the 26th Edition of the Parcours de l'Art from October 3 to 18, 2020 in Avignon In 2020, the artists came together around a common theme: "...If Tomorrow." The "Gustave Built" creations fit perfectly with this theme.
